Insight has landed quite a coup as Australia’s four independent MPs and lone Greens MP will all appear together tonight at 7.30pm on SBS One.
UPDATE: Independent MPs Bob Katter, Rob Oakeshott and Tony Windsor have withdrawn from tonight’s episode of Insight (SBS One, 7.30pm, Tuesday August 31), saying they will be attending meetings with the Government at the time of broadcast. Two of the key players – Greens MP Adam Bandt and Independent MP Andrew Wilkie – will be on Insight tonight.
The four independent MPs are Bob Katter, Rob Oakeshott, Andrew Wilkie and Tony Windsor, with Greens MP Adam Bandt. They will join a range of guests from across Australia’s political spectrum to discuss the realities of a hung Parliament in the context of political history and the possible future of such a parliament.
Led by presenter Jenny Brockie, Insight will examine how a minority government might function and whether it can be effective.

Will they sit to the left of the presenter? Disappointing Bob Katter won’t be there.
Actually I think it will be more interesting with those 2 .
Wow that will be really interesting and Jenny is so good at managing these forums. However she’ll have her work cut out for her trying to curb Bob Katter’s (cringeful at times) ramblings!
