The Telemovie running time is 1 hr 25 mins.

You can download it here.

This isn’t the first time a new drama has been available online before its TV premiere. Nine has previously offered several of its new dramas online too.

Offspring premieres 8:30pm Sunday on TEN.

  1. just watched it and loved it. had a few laughs and just enjoyed a genuinely great performance by all involved. i’ll be tuning in again next weekend.

  2. @ Trix, How did you ever guess?
Believe me, I wish the show well. It’s just not my cup of tea & TBH I didn’t think it was very good. I really can’t see it doing well but I thought the same about PTTR, so what do I know?

  3. @ducko, hmmm, could it be though that you’re not a 30 something professional single woman with a longing for a lifelong relationship and lots of lovely kiddies?!

  4. I don’t like watching on an ipod .Its like watching a postage stamp move.
From the commercials of this show , I wouldn’t care if it debuted next year !

  5. Well people I have now watched this and I’m too nervous to say it’s pure genius – but it’s John Edwards at the top of his game. The cast are all fantastic and it will launch Asher Keddie as a major star – well deserved and long overdue. I know the promos are overkill, but watch it anyway – it surprises and delights – makes you laugh and makes you cry. This is a winner (and I hope a game changer for Nine and Seven who are so frozen with fear they cannot take a risk on anything or anyone new). A breath of fresh air on the drama scene.

  6. i watched the pilot episode and it was fantastic. loved every minute of it and i am going to watch it all the time.

i will also watch it again on sunday night (not because i have nothing else to do).

  7. I just wish they’d hurry up & show the bloody thing. The promos are driving me crazy. Ten, seriously do something about your promos – they are driving people away.

  8. I got so sick of the promos I don’t think I’ll bother. Interesting strategy to put it online first, surely this will go against all the effort they have been making to get us to watch it when it actually airs.

  9. At times like this I wish I have faster Internet, how long before that Labor 1Gbps system if working?

Yes jezza the pilot is a 2 hour telemovie, at least it’s not 2x 1 hour eps stuck together to make it look like a movie length pilot.

Bre – so you would rather they didn’t promote it? If you think this is bad you should see the number of promos Foxtel has had for Spirited!

  10. I was going to give this series a go, but Ten have put me off, as almost every add break during it’s prime-time programs, features a promo of it. Enough already!
