Returning: Mad Men

The lives of the men and women of newly formed agency, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, unfold on Movie Extra next month.

As previously revealed, the fourth season of Mad Men returns to Movie Extra in September.

And this time around, the shattering secrets exposed in Season Three continue to reverberate, as the lives of the men and women of newly formed agency, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, continue to evolve.

Season Four questions the traditional norms and simmering societal frustrations between men and women.

We last left dark horse, Don Draper, when his professional and personal lives spectacularly imploded, with the unexpected sale of Sterling Cooper by British parent, Putnam, Powell and Lowe (PPL) and the breakdown of his marriage to Betty. Throughout the third season, Don and co. faced the harsh realities of dramatic change in their country, including the birth of civil rights and the assassination of beloved President Kennedy, as well as upheaval in their personal lives.

With its award-winning ensemble cast including Golden Globe-winner Jon Hamm, January Jones, Elisabeth Moss, Vincent Kartheiser, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Jared Harris, Rich Sommer, Aaron Staton, Robert Morse and Kiernan Shipka, the fourth season of Mad Men delivers even more of the sultry, climactic drama that Mad Men lovers have come to crave.

It returns 8:30pm Thursday 2nd September on Movie Extra.

  1. I’m thinking of expanding my Pay-TV subscription for just this show – but does anyone know if Foxtel will be including the subtitles for the show? I have a deaf husband.
