Check out the US version of Top Gear, which is is due to premiere on the History Channel.
It features Adam Ferrara, Tanner Foust and Rutledge Wood as an American Clarkson / Hammond / May.
This is the second time the US has attempted a local version (doesn’t that sound familiar?), with an earlier one by NBC.
They sure like to wear check shirts over there.

It will be on the History Channel in the US guys, also most likely on Australian Cable providers.
Two clowns are wearing the same clothes and stupid rock and roll music is anything with american car shows… seen motor & trend or what ever? This show will suck.
wow… that was terrible
So TGA might start in a month or so on Nine, The US version is also sometime in Sept or Oct and they will be back in the UK in Nov, we’re going to have TG overload in the next few months!
How ironic would it be if TG US ends up on SBS?
“History Channel? How does that work exactly…?”
Well most US cars (GM/Ford) are about 20 years behind the rest of the world when it comes to design, safety and handling so there’s your history LOL
I’m guessing a lot of SVU’s and muscle cars will be in the mix.
To be honest, the Australian version looks better than that.
I’m someone that didn’t actually mind the Aussie version, but this is yeah i’ll give it a shot.
Only worry is, this video is relying too much on showing people laughing, hearing people laughing than actually showing anything worth laughing at. Hopes half the show isn’t one of them doing mildly entertaining things, while the others pretend to laugh as if they’re watching a stunt on jackass.
I agree, it looks ok and yes, better than TGA.
If stock car racing in the US started with people driving fast around twisty country roads, why on earth did they take most of the interest out of it by deciding to just turn left on all but 2 racetracks?
Looks good, commenting on the video itself, why am I not surprised drunk people invented NASCAR.
Well it will have one thing the UK original doesn’t. The word “awesome”. And not just once. They will use it *a lot*. Awesome.
So they’ve abandoned the idea of renaming it “Gear” then?
It looks better then the Aussie version
History Channel? How does that work exactly…?
That actually looks alright, okay it’s never gonna beat the UK version but I hope we get this here. I guess the local History channel will have first dibs?
How on the FTA side has a deal with them?
