Still one of television’s landmark series, Twin Peaks turned 20 earlier this year.
To mark the occasion, Showcase is set to screen the entire series in October.
The haunting series from director David Lynch was a critical hit and left puzzled audiences guessing as to its mystery of ‘Who Killed Laura Palmer?’
Kyle MacLachlan still says of his character Dale Cooper, “That perhaps is my most favorite character I’ve ever done.”
Encore screening celebrating the 20th anniversary of the iconic TV series Twin Peaks – from cult director David Lynch (Eraserhead, Blue Velvet). When the body of Laura Palmer, the Twin Peaks Homecoming Queen, is discovered washed up on a riverbank wrapped in plastic, FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper is called in to investigate the crime and the mysterious circumstances surrounding it.
It plays Fridays from 8.30pm October 29 on Showcase.
And here’s a good excuse to play Angelo Badalamenti’s theme song once more….

Love this show.
I remember watching this series as a teenager and getting totally frustrated as the show drew out revealing who killed Laura Palmer. It was ALL David Lynch and his off the wall style!
Time to get the cherry pie, black coffee and *whistle* new shoes, ready!
