@Tweet the ALP Away … dude, this is a TV website, not a forum for your rabid political views.
@ Tweet the ALP away, this is exactly what I mean, bugger off and let people make their own minds up. Get hysterical else where !
who cares about the tweets we want the party that has the integirty and the leader too so that is Tony Abott!
I really hate this election and the way it is being overly reported and dissected. All phone in polls and tweets are easily stacked. There is only one poll that counts and that is this saturday the rest is just smoke, mirrors and BS.
Give us a bit of space !
most of the tweets for abbotts Q & A session where negative: calling him a complete and utter luddite!
Twitter comments on q&A are from twits, get rid of them… the comments that is.
Where do the tweet stats come from David? I’d be interested to track other hashtags,,
Mikeys: Q & A supplied.
Much like the make up of the audience, the on-screen tweets should reflect a range of views. Not just gags from established ABC commentators.
Usually this does happen, but Q&A(nnabel Crabb) got it wrong last night, imo.
@Adam Richard You may have also used this comments section – well done!
Doesn’t say much, the extras Abbott got may all have been abusive, for all we know.
This proves something. Not sure what. Will tweet for answers.
at least if Tony loses this election, he has won the Tweeter battle, LOL 🙂
I noticed some big (& hot) names Tweeting on the super at the bottom of the screen; music’s Claire Bowditch; The Drum’s Annabel Crabb; & Fairfax Radio’s Latika Bourke. These were the funny ones, while the Joe Blow’s out there continue to state the obvious – eg, “Rudd’s a dud! Move on,” from a couple of weeks ago. The key is to be funny.
Maybe the question should be “what was twittered by people”?
I may have used the #qanda hashtag to promote the talking poofy poofcast last night…
Does this mean we hate Abbott more passionately?!
Judging solely on my Twitter feed, I would say this seems correct. Pity we can’t calculate the “for” and “against” tweets
One other thing worth noting that during both Q&A’s, Gillard trended internationally, Abbott not at all. So even though Abbott scored more ‘tweets’, people seemed to be mentioning Gillard more. Though to be fair, I guess, it doesn’t take into account ‘tabbott’ and other variations of his name, I think it’s still worth noting.
Going on what they show during the program – Twits would be a better term.
