Just on the WIN situation, it’s no longer just for the Canberra WIN Market that the Radiers game is airing first, It’s for all WIN Markets in NSW which is outrageous. The game at 9:30pm, Titans and Tigers has much more of an effect on the Top 4 which is where the action will happen. Whilst I applaude WIN for making the change for Canberra, they should still show the Titans/Tigers game first into all of their other markets like here in Bathurst through the Orange/Dubbo channel!
Does anyone know if Main Event will be showing the AFL live in Sydney?
Or am I going to have to wait until 9:30 to watch it because of a Vicar of Dibley Christmas Special?
I can’t believe I even said that sentence.
I for one am a very happy Perth viewer. While live would be great in theory, its never gonna happen in WA on a Friday as it’d mean being telecast when most people arent even home from work.
Hope it gets good ratings to encourage 7 to show the games at an earlier time next year.
they go from having the afl on at 8:30 to now it’s on at 9:30. because they want to show a repeated show. foxtel have it on live on friday night in brisbane. the afl better fix this or hell will be raised
Go St Kilda!!!
Perth misses out again…more like Brisbane misses out again! dont remeber the last time brisbane has had a live friday night game, much less at a decent time. Surprised seven has decided to put it on at 9.30 instead of keeping with their horrible commitment and airing the game at midnight.
AFL rules the roost. Be glad when its over.
This is yet another reason why the anti siphoning list must be scrapped it is useless and allow live sport. Hopefully when the analogue signal gets switched of everywhere the anti siphoning list will become redundant. EVERY SPORTS FAN IN AUSTRALIA START PRAYING FOR THAT.
perth’s not the only one missing out, melbourne’s getting it delayed as well. looks like adelaide is the only place to see it live.
once again perth gets delayed night games of AFL.
well at least china is getting them live!
live footy on C7? i don’t believe it
it would be interesting to see the ratings for this. On one hand some may say it rated well because its on live, but on the other hand others may say it rated well because it a finals game
will be interesting to see how this will effect Xfactor in the afl markets on thursday. and if this will impact on nines cop show premier, which Xfactor will now overlap.
Yay live footy in Adelaide. See that wasn’t so hard Sevenw as it.
Now Nine how about putting the Titans game on ealier in Adelaide. It’s a big match and would really like not have to stay up until 3am to watch it and fall asleep.
Finally, live football on friday in Adelaide.
Good to see that Seven is continuing the Australian tradition of showing Christmas specials in July-August.
David: Unless things have changed, I think you’ll find that Brisbane will be showing the two NRL games in the opposite order (i.e Broncos games first) to Sydney. Just thought I’d point that out to Qld viewers.
