Deal or No Deal: Footy finals

AFL players compete in a footy-themed week of Double Shot on Deal or No Deal.

Deal or No Deal gets in the spirit of the AFL Grand Final with a week of Footy Finals Double Shot as AFL players compete for both their charity and a home viewer.

Monday, September 20 – Simon Black, Brisbane Lions
The Lions may be out of the race for 2010 but Simon Black will be playing for the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane. Tune in to see if their triple premiership player can deliver the goods!

Tuesday, September 21 – Tadhg Kennelly, Sydney Swans
Proving he can master Gaelic football as well as AFL, Tadhg will battle it out against Walter P. Smythe for The Reach Foundation. Will the luck of the Irish pull him through?

Wednesday, September 22 – Cameron Ling, Geelong Cats
A two-time premiership player and AFL’s sexiest man, Cameron hopes to lead the Cats to victory as captain. But first he needs to make money for the Anam Cara House in Geelong and a lucky home viewer!

Thursday, September 23 – Brad Johnson, Western Bulldogs
Can Brad add to his career-ending high by winning big for The Warwick Foundation? The Bulldogs have pulled together to make it through to the finals but how will their fearless leader fair on his own against the bank?

Friday, September 24 – Nick Maxwell, Collingwood
With those loyal pies supporters behind him, Nick Maxwell may get his men to the MCG on that big day in September. But how will he go for his charity, the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) Australia, and a viewer at home?

  1. I wouldn’t be surprised if Black, is really there to help correct the lack of ratings that Deal has had in Brisbane, for the last twelve months.

7 has already ditched two QLD-only promotional pushes in the last month and a half (first community newspapers, then bus shelters), as ratings fell.
