Now what was Reg Grundy saying about shows being taken off air overnight, again….? And what did TV Tonight readers recently rate as their #1 Free to Air gripe? Not playing out a series.

Human Target will be fired from GO! as from next week. That will be 6 of its 12 eps aired.
The drama, starring Mark Valley, had been airing at 8:30pm Wednesdays prior to Spartacus: Blood and Sand. After tomorrow night’s episode it will be replaced by -you guessed it- Two and a Half Men. At 9pm The Inbetweeners will repeat.
Meanwhile more Big Bang Theory eps move into Tuesdays at 8:30pm in place of Seinfeld, joined by Inbetweeners at 9pm. That makes 3 nights a week for the Chuck Lorre comedy: Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (when it really rates for GO!).
How long will it be before Big Bang and 2.5 Men are plugging holes on GEM too?
UPDATE: Nine advises it will be back in a few weeks.

Whom do I contact to get on the list for a ratings diary or people meter or whatever they use nowdays so I can tell them I am watching this?
Wednesday night is when I’m glad I’ve got twin tuner PVRs not just a single tuner.
Spicks and Specks, Gruen, Tara on ABC, Wipeout, Spartacus, Human Target. on GO.
Keeps us going for the rest of the week.
I was actually grateful that Human Target was replayed at midnight – made it easier to record all these shows with padding while keeping the Kid’s Wipeout separate from the more violent following programs.
APM: Story clearly indicated change takes effect next week.
Human Target is great though, it can’t be pulled off the air!
Damn you again Nine! It was a good little program that didn’t take itself too seriously. I will certainly not be watching 2.5 Spams.
While OzTam are allowed to aggregate different channels together to give a “network share”, Nine and Seven will continue to replace low-rating niche programs with recycled waste. Network share is not a useful number for an advertiser. You want to know how many people might see your ad on one channel or another – 25% is a meaningless figure if 3 or 4% is from a completely different channel. It will be even more fractured once GEM and 7mate start.
Wasn’t this recently renewed in the US?
Yet another reason not to trust FTA, that said it will probably show up unannounced in the middle of the night.

Not really surprised to see Human Target fail for Go!.
It seemed to me to be B or C grade material, & not something to pin your executive hopes on. It was also the lead in to the severely cut Spartacus… so for all the hype, the total was quite weak.
Noooo! this cannot happen, Human Target is one of my weekly shows, it’s great i’m sick of GO! showing repeats when they have new episodes of shows, it’s good to know it will be back but instead of suspending it they should put it on a late time slot so i can record it well i guess i will be watching House from now on until Human Target returns.
Nine is a Joke…. Go! is a joke.
Human Target was a really entertaining show. It’s a shame. They should move these to later time slots and wait and see if people catch on.
Yes, we need the new episodes of The Inbetweeners now. Where is a date for the new episodes of Community too.
Disappointing. If GO! played what they promised to play, I’d be a lot less likely to either wait for DVDs or to consume my television by somewhat nefarious means.

shame about human target, i though that would be one of the better rating shows. maybe even worthy of a ch9 airing. it was renewed by FOX and seems it would have broad appeal. so i’d say GO! would have though so too.
the inbetweeners played 12 original episodes on tuesdays earlier this year. then shortly after they finished they were repeated and then restarted the repeats on mondays. and now the same episodes are being played again twice a week so in 5 weeks time these episodes will be played for the 4th time this year.
Isn’t this the third broadcast of The Inbetweeners? Series 3 has just started in the UK, surely they could play that instead.
Although, I am a bit of a Inbetweeners tragic…..and I have to admit I have watched them all about 3 times too.

Sheep – all of you! – Refuse to watch another Two and a Half Men unless they are first runs. Nine has had enough mileage out of this.
What were the ratings like for Human Target ? Anyone know ?
I’m really disappointed because Nine never gave Human Target a chance,it’s a great show and deserved better.

No!! I was so enjoying this and last week the Guest Star was The Cigarette Smoking Man. Trust no-one. Honestly, how do they ever expect to build a viewer base.

Answer: Within a week they will be amended in.
Considering GO! only has the first 12 eps of The Inbetweeners, they must be up to the third or fourth run of those two seasons. They should just fast track the new season.
Human Target should have just moved to a 10.30 slot, not get rid of it altogher, especially as it is on a digital channel.
