An interesting turn of events touches Insight this week….

An episode filmed in July on climate change featured Stanford University scientist Professor Stephen Schneider.

He faced an audience of sceptics at the University of New South Wales, after arriving in Australia to speak at the 2010 Climate Change Adaptation Futures Conference run by CSIRO.

Less than a month later he died suddenly on a flight from Stockholm to London.

Prof. Schneider was a regular visitor to Australia, commenting frequently about Australia’s energy consumption and climate policy. He had a stint as Adelaide Thinker in Residence 2006.
