Super Rugby logo to be revealed

On Monday FOX Sports will reveal the new Super Rugby tournament logo and 2011 season  live on air.

The unveiling ceremony at Hoyts Cinemas, Fox Studios, will air at 2pm AEST on FOX Sports News (Ch 513). The launch will also stream on www.foxsports.com.au.

FOX Sports chief rugby commentator Greg Clark, Sky New Zealand’s Tony Johnson and former Wallaby Rod Kafer will be joined by a number of Super Rugby players and coaches.

The re-structured competition will see the expansion of Super Rugby to fifteen teams and a new Australian franchise, the Melbourne Rebels. It will feature a three-conference system of more “local” derbies, a new finals format, and an additional 31 regular-season matches in a year that will culminate in the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
