This Sunday night TEN turns up the flavour of India with Learn India with Hamish and Andy at 7:30pm.
At 9:30pm is Good News Week: Delhi 2010-Ready Or Not!
Join Paul McDermott along with his team as they decipher, dissect, and hilariously misrepresent the news from the week. Tonight’s guests: Libby Trickett, Dave O’Neil, Anh Do, Nikki Hudson.
At 11pm it’s a special Commonwealth Games Project featuring Carrie Bickmore, Dave Hughes, Dr Andrew Rochford & Mick Molloy.
It will include live crosses to India as the Countdown begins.
Confirmed guests are:
* Anthony Hudson – India
* Libby Trickett – in Melbourne on the 7pm desk
* Hugh Riminton – India
* Sam Lane – in Melbourne on the 7PM desk
* Brad McEwan – Docklands studio
* Lucy McDonald – London
* Ben Hurley – New Zealand
The Opening Ceremony then kicks off at 12 midnight (no word if Libby Trickett is also on the ground in Delhi!).
All times are AEDT.

Very poor coverage of the Opening Ceremony with no HD simulcast on ONE.
Does anyone know the WA line up?
Opening ceremony starts at 9.30 our time so does that mean we don’t get GNW?
Nice to see a change to the regular GNW (S house) guest line up. Have to agree with Davo about Hamish & Andy.
Amish & Andy are about as funny as watching grass grow.
Does anyone else find Clare Hooper really quite unfunny?
EDIT: Actually maybe he isn’t anymore. He has been all week though.
Brad McEwen is in India, not at the Docklands.
Info is as supplied by TEN.
all this hype and press has actually made me more interested in seeing these games.
P.S. That was meant to show up as “Can’t argue with [ insert number ] people”
Yeah, I’m with Tom and effdee. If you’re gonna use the “Can’t argue with people” argument, you have to remember that Kyle and Jackie O are number one in the ratings and have been for quite a while. Doesn’t stop almost all the commenters on this blog (including myself) from hating on them.
I agree with effdee, Hamish and Andy are not funny.
I know a lot of people disagree, but i think they are the same people that think TT & ACA are legitimate journalism.
I just want to know if I’ll see the F1 live next week end, the race starts 5pm local time, which should go nicely with Bathurst finishing less than an hour before on Seven. Assuming ONE don’t screw it up!
@effdee – I think you’ll find that the title is intended to be ironic and even a little self-deprecating. “Learn India” is hardly what you would consider to be good grammar.
I think they’re quite funny. Looking forward to the 100m ghosting.
Sour grapes much effdee?
@effdee Hamish and Andy are the funniest comedy duo’s in Australia and i’m sure 1.7 million would agree.
“Learn India with Hamish and Andy” no thanks I’ll pass on that one, we won’t learn much about India at all.
But I’m sure Hamish and Andy will show what pathetic idiots they are yet again!
