Returning: Fringe, The Listener.

Season Three of Fringe begins later this month followed by another screening of supernatural drama The Listener.

US drama Fringe finally returns to GO! later this month.

The third series will premiere at 9:30pm Thursday October 28th with “Olivia.” This premiered in the US on September 23rd.

In the third-season premiere, Olivia struggles to free herself from the alternate universe, while her auburn-haired counterpart works alongside the oblivious Peter and Walter.

It will be followed by Canadian drama The Listener which began on GO! but was taken off air. It resumes from the first episode in case you want to begin at the start.

The supernatural drama set in Toronto follows a young paramedic named Toby Logan with the ability to listen to people’s most intimate thoughts.

I’m an Adult Now
When Toby rescues a young woman from a terrible car accident, he starts having disturbing visions of the son of the woman, who has gone missing.

It airs at 10:30pm October 28th.

UPDATE: Fringe now 9:30pm Wednesday November 10.

  1. The networks are definitely slipping fast tracking. The only one I can think of that is being fast tracked at the moment if “The Event”. Fringe should have been on 2 weeks ago imo if they want to claim it is being fast tracked.

  2. This is not fast-tracking, but there are other options. Hopefully GO will go straight through with the episodes and avoid the breaks for baseball etc that they will have in the US.

The benchmark for fast-tracking was the Sci-FI channel with the final season of BSG. Broadcast in the US Saturday morning our time then broadcast here that night.

All the networks are starting to slip with there so called “fast-tracking”.

  3. Seen Warehouse 13 & Caprica already, love Fringe and can’t wait for more after the cliff hanger they left us on but really 5-6 weeks and they call it ‘fast tracking’ guess it’s better than what we used to have with 5-6 months delays.

  4. Can’t wait! Different day different time so long as they don’t keep moving the timeslot. We will also catch up as Fringe is taking a break in the US for the baseball for a few weeks.

  5. Finally! Five weeks later is not fast tracking in my book but it’ll be good to watch a show that’ll fill the hole that The Event is not managing to.

  6. I dont understand why they decided to compete for sci-fi fans with Caprica on 7mate on thursday? Wouldn’t it make more sense to put Fringe on wednesday where there is no other sci-fi showing? All they have done is ensure that a number of people will be recording it to watch later (and skip ads).

  7. so wheres human target now?? it was supposed to return soon, and has been running in the network promos all this time, stupid decision to pull it in the first place

  8. I just did some checking, apparently Listener S2 will be shown in Canada first early next year, GO! might pick up then?

@Phoenix – Listener was never shown in Nine’s main channel, back in March GO! aired the pilot and then they yanked it off the air.

  9. The Listener was cancelled in the US by NBC, but not in Canada…

so there will be a 2nd season coming…

It was announced on November 17, 2009 that The Listener had been renewed in Canada for a 13 episode second season. On NBC however, where the show was being broadcast in the United States, the show was canceled.

  10. Good news that The Listener is finally back and is being shown from the very first episode. Now if only GO! keeps their commitment to their audience to screen the whole series, rather than ripping it off the air after a few episodes — or in this case, one.
