Stars come out for Nine farewell

Lorraine Bayly & Paul Cronin, Ernie & Denise, Don't Forget Your Toothbrush's Tim Ferguson and Wendy Mooney -the GTV9 party boasts more stars than the Logies.

Nine’s nostalgic party set to air this Saturday night will be a night to remember.

To be hosted by both Bert Newton and Eddie McGuire, it promises a “Who’s Who” of current and former Nine personalities, with a list of invitees to rival the Logie Awards.

Lights, Camera, Party: Television City Celebrates!
will be the last, big-ticket live event to air from the historic Bendigo Street studios.

Set to feature in the broadcast are The Sullivans‘ Lorraine Bayly, Paul Cronin and Michael Caton; The Footy Show‘s Sam Newman and Shane Crawford; A Current Affair‘s Ray Martin and Tracy Grimshaw; Getaway‘s Catriona Rowntree; wrestler Mario Milano; Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush‘s Tim Ferguson and Wendy Mooney; plus performances from Ernie Sigley & Denise Drysdale, John Clarke & Bryan Dawe and the Scared Weird Little Guys.

Archival footage will celebrate the work of Don Lane, Graham Kennedy and Paul Hogan.

TV Tonight will be attending, armed with a camera to capture some of the famous faces who have lit up our screens.

For television buffs this will be must-see TV.

It airs live following the 2010 finale of Hey Hey it’s Saturday, 9:40pm Saturday night.
