LifeStyle YOU has acquired the Australian broadcast rights for the reality drama series The Only Way is Essex.

The UK series lifts the lid on what it means to be an Essex Lady or Lad.

Following the drama filled lives of six young, rich and beautiful socialites, nightclub promoter Mark and his aspiring pop-star sister Jessica Wright, fashionista Lauren Goodger, club owner Kirk Norcross, beautician Amy Childs and glamour model Sam Faiers; The Only Way is Essex takes us into the heart of glamorous Essex, the fake-tan, fake-boob and fake-hair capital of the UK, where being vajazzled is a prerequisite and a Rolex is any guys must-have accessory.

A cross between The Hills and Jersey Shore, this real life docu-soap has so many dramatic antics it’s a must watch this summer. From Mark and Lauren’s love hate relationship to Amy’s new hook up with bar owner Kirk and her dreams of becoming the next Katie Price, the people and drama are unbelievably real.

    This had to be on Channel 5 in the UK.
