Spicks and Specks annual Christmas romp airs this Friday night with a long list of musical names and mayhem.
In previous years this has actually aired on Christmas night. This year it has to compete with Carols by Candlelight -a big ask.
Key guests include Jimeoin, Jimmy Barnes, Sia and Denise Scott, while Brian Cadd also makes a white-beard appearance in a rather red suit. Perfect casting.
A local Ripponlea school donned elves outfits to perform some festive tunes.
It airs 8:30pm Friday on ABC1.

BTW, who is Sia? I’ve never heard of her.
Great to see they’ve brought Barry Morgan of Barry Morgan’s World of Organs back. His appearance earlier this year was one of the funniest things the show has ever done.
Xmas night is Saturday.
It’s being repeated Christmas Night on ABC2 according to the ads
That’s right Dylan. “A Very Specky Christmas” has always premiered before Christmas. I have never seen it shown on Christmas night.
Yeah, I don’t recall watching this on Xmas day either. Good to see that the guy with the ’70s pornstar mo’ who plays that cheesy organ is back.
Actually David, in all previous years it has premiered on the Sunday before Christmas at 7:30.
