US broadcaster Larry King presented his final Larry King Live show on CNN last Friday, after 25 years, more than 7,000 shows and over 50,000 interviews.
That’s a lot of talk.
King, 77, was farewelled by two US Presidents (Obama and Clinton), Californian governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Barbara Walters, Katie Couric, Joan Rivers and Donald Trump.
King is hanging up his red braces after sagging ratings and a year of turmoil with accusations of an affair with his wife’s sister.
He will make way for former newspaper editor-turned TV talent judge Piers Morgan (Britain’s Got Talent), who takes over next month.
But King was once the go-to place for a television interview and provided great access to key newsmakers on CNN.

I have to say that this is a bit overdue as Larry has been past it for a while now.
