A legal battle is brewing over the Australian / Canadian co-production of the children's television series Stormworld.

A legal battle is brewing over the Australian / Canadian co-production of the children’s television series Stormworld.

Kojo Productions and its subsidiary, Tracks Adelaide, is suing Western Australia-based production house Great Western Entertainment for more than $265,000.

The post-production companies say the producer has not paid invoices totalling $236,309.65, or interest of more than $28,000.

But Great Western has accused Kojo of failing to meet deadlines and technical standards in its production.

The series aired on the Nine Network in 2009.
