TV Tonight understands Nine is developing a new kids’ show to be stripped across afternoons, combining cooking with a quiz show format.

Kitchen Whiz will see the return of Beau Walker (The Shak) alongside Andy Minh Trieu (Tomorrow When the War Began, Sisters of War, Rescue Special Ops).

Produced by Michael Boughen (Tomorrow When the War Began, Kid’s Choice Awards, Wipeout, Go Go Stop, A*Mazing) of Ambience Entertainment, it is due to begin filming at FOX Studios with a whopping 130 episode order.

  3. Another case of Nine spending mass amount of money on hiring Fox Studios for childrens production, while QTQ in Brisbane is, as they say in the theme park business, “standing but not operating”, except for producing the 6pm news.

  4. Great to see Beau back on telly, those guys from the Shak where great talent. Almost makes me hope they will bring Wonderworld back? The Shak was sort of Wonderworld-esque…
