US actress joins Wilfred cast

US actress Dorian Brown has joined FX’s adaptation of Wilfred, which stars Jason Gann in the title role and Elijah Wood as friend / nemesis, Ryan.

Brown (Roommates, Romantically Challenged, Accidentally On Purpose, Psych, Cold Case and Mercy) will play the older sister of Wood’s character, described as a “controlling” and “condescending” obstetrician.

The part was reportedly played by Andrea Savage in the pilot.
