Blue Bloods features the TV return of Tom Selleck as the patriarch of a family of police officers in New York City.

US drama series Blue Bloods, featuring the TV return of Tom Selleck will premiere on TEN at 8:30pm Wednesday February 2nd.

Selleck features as the patriarch of a family of police officers in New York City.

He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry, during his stint as Chief. A source of pride and concern for Frank is his eldest son Danny, a seasoned detective, family man, and Iraqi War vet who on occasion uses dubious tactics to solve cases.

It also stars Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou and Jennifer Esposito.

  1. Very high profile slot for a show that has a low profile slot on CBS and is not looking strong for a renewal. I’d say this will be one of the first shows to be dumped or atleast bumped. It will probably premiere well but there isn’t anything unique or overly interesting about it to keep mass audiences interested. And it will probably be very old skewing.

  2. I’ve done the same Mitrebin. Watched one episode and had to keep watching cos this show is great. One of my new favourites along with Hawaii Five O and Raising Hope. Ten really picked up the best of the new crop. I think they have The Defenders too.

  3. I’ve been watching this “elsewhere” for a while and really enjoy it. Selleck and Wahlbourg are great as tough cops. Good insight into the politics behind the scenes, IA investigations into the family etc. Nice one TEN for picking it up!
