Chopper Rescue update

This ABC series about Queensland chopper heroes, didn't premiere last week due to the Queensland floods, in which they were busy working.

Due to last week’s rolling coverage of the Queensland flood crisis, ABC’s Chopper Rescue -which was originally scheduled to premiere last Friday- will now be premiering this Friday (21st January). Which is all just a bit too ironic given the work they were doing last week.

This Southern Star series is like most other fly on the wall shows (in fact it doesn’t feel particularly ABC at all). That said, it will appeal to those who enjoy this genre.
