Megan Gale has won the hosting job of Project Runway Australia.
Gale will replace Kristy Hinze, who hosted two seasons of the designing show.
Gale was one of two short-listed named this week by TV Tonight -the other was Nicole Trunfio.
It will be Gale’s first TV hosting gig since she fronted Bodywork for Nine in 2005.
But Gale’s association with David Jones could see changes to the judging team with Myer-aligned designer Jayson Brunsdon potentially replaced by Australia’s Next Top Model‘s Alex Perry, whose line is sold at David Jones.
Project Runway Australia, produced by FremantleMedia Australia, did not air in 2010.

It’s Project Runway not Australia’s Next Top Model she’s doing.
“It will be Gale’s first TV hosting gig since she fronted Bodywork for Nine in 2005.”
Didn’t she host the first series of What A Year on Nine in ’06?
I love both Megan & Sarah. Great choice!
Zzzz how boring. What happened to Kristy Hinze?
Decent choice, especially given her own recent foray into fashion design. Disagree with AA though, IMO she would not cut it as host of ANTM, a job which Sarah Murdoch has done perfectly (1000000x better than Erika Heynatz and Jodhi Meares). Hinze would not have cut it either. This is a totally different show, and Gale will no doubt do a good job, as Hinze did.
What a great choice this is. Megan Gale is one of my favorite models she is going to be great. Megan comunicates quite well and i know she will do a better job than Sarah Murdoch (Ohare). Sarah just does not cut it, Megan will do very well.
