Don’t know if David edited the post or not, but the playlist I see here now is definitely the correct one that was played – there’s a tribute to Japan at the end due to the passing of Mick Karn just last week.

I second the call for Pet Shop Boys “Always On My Mind”
MJ : I love the diverse range of guest programmers. But there’s a few videos I’ve seen enough of by now, such as Windowlicker or Berlin Chair which seem to get played every second week.
Rage should play Always on my Mind by the Pet Shop Boys from 1988.
They should just do this Every Saturday rather than the guest programmer choosing drivel and mindless crap.

The Rage website doesn’t have the playlists up for this weekend yet, but this is the basic rundown for this Saturday ….”Retro month is in full swing this week with Saturday night pulling out some hidden gems from the archives. We have for you Three episodes of Countdown, which include interviews with Rod Stewart, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, performances by La Femme and Uncanny X-men and Heaps of amazing clips. But that’s not all, there is an episode of Hitscene from 1970 and some Recovery from 1997. We also have a very special GTK Special on the late William Shakespeare as well as a mini special in tribute to the late Gerry Rafferty”.
The Jan 15-16 is a Replica of one of last years playlists.
That is last years 2010 playlist for the weekend 😉 I remember it fondly. Who could forget the Flashez segment on Pool safety with the cardboard cutout animations!
