  1. Good point Adam …

@ Richard … (I hate this @ business because it sounds like we are having a go at someone!!!) anyway …
both “Sanctuary” and the new season of “V” are working brilliantly with green screen now and I really enjoy what they can do with these completely artificial worlds … and they look amazing in HD on Blu-ray disc! If it helps sustain our favourite Sci-Fi shows and keeps the seasons coming then i am all for it …

  2. Stargate Universe sucks because Joseph Mallozzi will take the executive lead for writing scripts. There clear different between a the quality of his episodes and comparsion to other stargate writers

Take Robert C. Cooper, Martin Gero and Brad Wright written and produced episodes from SGA/SGU. These are some of the most memorable episodes in stargate

Even in both stargate SGA/SGU Joseph Mallozzi would be the one writing the filler episodes that sucked badly

  3. @Jimmy: Thirteen’s a good number for TV. It doesn’t mean they lack faith in the show, it may just be more economical. Remember Sanctuary doesn’t have studio support so its budget is, well tiny compared with current Doctor Who or Merlin. So this may be a decision of the show rather than Sci-Fi.

  4. Fantastic!
This has grown into a great Sci-Fi series.
The final two epidodes of Season 2 called “Kali” were just brilliant! and it is great that Amanda Tapping is having such a great success after Stargate.

Sadly, Stargate Universe was just too dark and lacking in “magic” to continue … Will they come up with a better Stargate spin-off??? I’m sure they could if they stayed true to the original shows style, humour and “magic” (as I keep calling it).
Stargate belongs in the same class of Sci-Fi as Doctor Who, Smallville and Merlin … not the style of Battlestar Galactica. It need glamour, not grunge.
