TEN will launch the new series of Law & Order: SVU next week.

The show is back from 9:30pm Thursday January 20th with the episode “Locum.” It guest stars Joan Cusack, Peter Strauss and Lost‘s Henry Ian Cusick.

It will follow the return of The Good Wife.

This episode aired in the US in September.

  4. Excellent news – two great programs in The Good Wife and SVU.
    However I’ll be watching Dexter on Pay, with no ads, and/or Ashes to Ashes on the ABC, no ads, and recording Ten.
    Sorry, but I cannot stand mindless ads. Too many, too often.

  5. I guess we should ‘enjoy’ it while we can – it won’t be around for many more seasons. 1o 2? I like it, but the writing is very uneven, and some eps are just downright daft. But Meloni and Hargitay are very watchable, especially her, and the guest stars are always fun to check out. It seems churlish to enjoy such a show,- the crimes are often truly sinister and despicable – but there it is.

  6. They should shove Good Wife to 9.30 I reckon

    Its a 10pm show in the states and doesn’t do all that well here.
    And where does this leave House? 9.30 Sundays?

  8. While I think that SVU can easily handle an 8.30 slot I reckon Ten’s glad to have some strong 8.30 shows so they can leave it at 9.30 as at least once or twice a season you have eps that have to be classified MA

  10. Good to see Ten isn’t waiting until ratings period and/or after the tennis to show the new season of shows, especially SVU.

    Hopefully the early start will result in ratings success.
