Clean sweep as Seven rules

The Seven Network has not just won the second week of official ratings, it has blown the competition out of the water.

The Seven Network has not only won the second week of official ratings, it has blown Nine out of the water.

Seven has utterly dominated in weekly share, demos, nights won and taking all 5 metro cities.

By coding My Kitchen Rules as 3 separate shows it has cleverly scooped up 8 of the week’s Top Ten shows. Nine only had one entertainment show over one million viewers, Underbelly while the Primary Channel share for both Nine and TEN were both under 20%.

Packed To The Rafters was again the #1 show for the week on 1,815,000.

  1. What completely mystifies me is that, after Underbelly and news, the most popular show on Nine is still… Two And A Half Men.

I mean… what the?! Do people just switch it on, mute it and leave the house or something?

  2. @ RichoTB…. your quiet an amusing person… once again you have this foolish idea that I am this so called “Vid” guy. I can asure you Mr RichoTB that Iam not Him… Yes, I know you were hoping for to have a laugh or a go at me, to which you have, I suggest that if you want to have another go at myself, thinking that Iam that “vid” guy or anyone else you would like to make up, my suggestion to you… is dont.

@ Secret Squïrrel…. yes I do favour nine..oh I do also favour 7, 10, sbs and the abc…. but at this point in time I dont favour 7 as they have created their own bubble of cockiness! well done to them for being where they are considering where they were about 7 years ago…
anything that is said on here weather is good or bad will also grate someone in one form or another…. thats life! you cant please everyone…I am not here to offend anyone, but one thing is for sure..I will not pretent to be fake in my options.

to both…. have a good day!

  3. Ch 7 have done well out of their Tennis period advertising once again.
I also notice that Ch7 tend to have more billboards up of their new shows and also their news – perhaps Ch9 could learn from this?
Would be nice to see Ch9 stick with some programming and I hope the home of laughter concept is stuck with – good change from all the factuals of the 2000’s…

  4. @ohyeah – “I dont know where u get the idea I favour 9”
David probably gets it from the same place the rest of us do – *all* of your comments. Your Nine bias is actually quite blatant but it’s your abrasive in-your-face attitude that really grates on people.

  5. @ohyeah & others. I do not work in the media, nor do I work for a television network. I work as a carer for the elderly, as far removed from the media as it is possible to get! The sum total of my exposure to Australian television networks is 1) I used to share a flat with a guy who was on the technical staff at one of the commercial networks. 2) I briefly dated a bloke who was on the production staff for news at one of the commercial networks. They worked for two different networks, Nine and Ten respectively. Beyond that vicarious social exposure to TV which was many years ago (late 90’s), I have never had anything to do with it, beyond being a viewer.
