  1. Josh,
    you are right that I opened it and read it, but where you seem confused is whether the story is about Mr Preston or about Compass. I am a regular watcher of the show and am disappointed it seems to have been seduced by celebrity. Preston is a fine judge and an okay if occasionally indulgent columnist, but I don’t really need to watch him on Compass.
    Why have I come back to have another look? I was interested to see other opinions.

  3. Agree, @Maev. Over the years Compass has presented some really interesting programs on theology, philosophy, the human condition – certainly not a “religious” show (something from which I’d run a mile. Or two).

  4. I used to love Matt Preston when he wrote reviews in The Age but as soon as he went on Master Chef I’ve found he’s become rather arrogant and annoying. Won’t be watching this one!
