Roseanne Barr is headed back to US television in a reality series set on her farm in Hawaii.

The 16-episode series about her life outside the Hollywood spotlight will screen on the Lifestyle channel.

Barr’s longtime boyfriend, writer Johnny Argent, and her son Jake will appear in the series set on her macadamia and livestock farm.

“Roseanne Barr is an undeniable force of nature and the idea of following her in this unique premise excited us from the get-go,” said Lifetime president and general manager, Nancy Dubuc.

“Roseanne is funny and brutally-honest, and our audience will relate to her decision to go on this adventure and create an entirely new life for herself. We are thrilled she will make her long-awaited return to television on Lifetime.”

Barr most recently appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, mistakenly under the impression that Winfrey had been holding a grudge against her for years, while Oprah professed to have no idea they were feuding.

  1. She does look so different, I was shocked actually but really it’s only the hair that’s all grey. But considering it has been 20 years since the episodes that are currrently screening on Eleven. Go Roseanne!
