US role for Underbelly actress

Kassandra Clementi, who appears in Underbelly: Infiltration, has been cast in a recurring role in a US dramedy.

Adelaide actress Kassandra Clementi who appears in tonight’s Underbelly: Infiltration telemovie has been cast in a recurring role in a US dramedy.

Single Ladies is a Sex and the City-style show that follows the lives of three best friends in Atlanta, starring Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy, Charity Shea, and DB Woodside. It will be preceded by a movie of the same name.

The 20-year-old will play Christina, described as a rebellious wild child and party girl with a penchant for motorbikes, tattoos and clothes.

The series will air on VH1 in the US about the middle of the year. Queen Latifah, who is an Executive producer, will make guest appearances in the series.

Clementi moved to Los Angeles last year.
