101 Ways to Leave a Game Show

Endemol's UK game show 101 Ways to Leave a Game Show is headed for America.

How’s this for a zany TV format?

Endemol’s UK game show 101 Ways to Leave a Game Show is now coming to ABC in America.

It’s a standard multiple-choice format and a $50,000 cash prize.

But the twist comes after contestants actually lose.

Each of them is ejected from the show in a spectacular fashion: being flown away strapped to the wing of a biplane, shot out of a cannon, pushed off the top of a moving semi-truck, dragged underwater by a one-ton anchor or yanked off a dock by a speedboat. Yikes.

The show is filmed at the Wipeout facility in Benavídez, Argentina and has been airing in six countries, including the UK.

Are we next?

  1. I hear John Clarke and Brian Dawe have a new project in the works that’s a mash-up of Spicks and Specks with Takeshi’s Castle. It’s completely different from the BBC program as it doesn’t feature any helicopters.

  2. Folks, we have officially scraped the bottom of the barrel. What an absolutely pathetic concept. This sounds like a rip-off of one of those sadistic Japanese game shows.

  3. I lasted 1.31 before I stopped the video as I started to black out from stupidity. Seriously crap TV………………….perfect for 9! Jules Lund as host, its a winner (until it airs) then gone after 2 weeks.
