Airdate: Seriously Funny: Comedy Gala Gold

Update: TEN will air Seriously Funny: Comedy Gala Gold on March 23rd.

Ok I haven’t managed to work this one out yet…..

TEN says it will air Seriously Funny: Comedy Gala Gold at 8:30pm on Wednesday March 23rd.

However according to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival the 2011 Gala doesn’t take place until Monday March 28th, hosted by Josh Thomas at St. Kilda’s Palais Theatre. TEN is a sponsor.

So unless Seriously Funny: Comedy Gala Gold is actually from another comedy festival (Canada?) ahead of a possible Melbourne event airing a week later I’m just a tad confused.

It’s also not a repeat.

Funny peculiar.

UPDATE: TEN advises it is clips from 25 years of Comedy Galas hosted by Paul McDermott. 2011 event airs later.

It appear that Seriously Funny will kick off comedy season on Ten…
