US actor David Arquette has assured fans he is “fine” after being involved in a head-on collision in Beverly Hills.
The actor, writer and producer said he should have been wearing a seat belt.
“Luckily I have dragon’s blood running through my veins,” he tweeted. “Haha Thank you for all your concern.”
Earlier the Beverly Hills Police Department responded to an injury traffic collision involving two vehicles at 2:09 p.m. on Friday.
The drivers, who were the only occupants, were taken to hospital with minor or moderate injuries. No other injuries were reported.
TMZ posted photos that showed Arquette lying on a patch of grass off the side of a road, with two mangled vehicles nearby.
Arquette has appeared in such series as Pushing Daisies, In Case of Emergency, My Name is Earl, Friends, Beverly Hills 90210, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and produced Dirt, and Cougar Town.
He is currently separated from wife Courteney Cox and spent time in rehab in January.
