Gone: $#*! My Dad Says

Updated: More changes at Nine affecting William Shatner & Charlie Sheen comedies plus Harry's Law and Big Bang Theory.

There are more changes coming to Nine next week which sees $#*! My Dad Says out of schedule, an additional episode of Harry’s Law (now both Sunday/ Monday) and no new episode of The Big Bang Theory.

Nine’s programming also sees repeats of Two and a Half Men back in at 7pm in Brisbane from Monday.

  1. Just thought I’d let you know that Nine are still showing TBBT at 7pm in Brisbane even though my Foxtel guide has 2.5 Men still in the schedule. Could this have been a late change?

  2. I know this off topic, but I’m interested to know if this website still has a section of axed show’s. There used to be a page in the past but i can’t find. I’m assuming it’s pretty hard to keep up so it’s gone?

  3. Still think it’s a mistake to have a new ep of “Harry’s Law” on Monday. You’re only going to confuse/annoy all the people who don’t read an informative blog like this or happen to notice it when checking their TV guide that night.

Why not repeat Sunday’s ep (or the prev. Sun)? You might introduce some new viewers to the series without risking your regular audience missing an ep. Just a thought.

  4. it really suprises me how nine seems to survive with one awful show which two & 1/2 men, honestly someone needs to get in there before the nine ship starts to sink! you can’t rely on one show to keep viewers happy, nine needs variety in a new schedule. program at nine must be re-intevented like the days when nine was still the one, a re-creation of old favours in new format, contiune well loved programs and dump the rubbish i.e. two & half men, contiune true to word promos and ‘home of…” campigns.

  5. You have got yourself in a muddle, David. That should be March 28 not March 21. March 21 the 8:00 episode of Two and a half Men is new. March 28 it’s repeat.

  6. @col – as fare as I know the 2010 US Special (first of the last series) has yet to air on Nine, but I haven’t been following the show closely on Nine so I might be wrong.

  7. Like others have asked where are the new shows Nine promised to fast track like Episodes and Mr Sunshine, also when is Hot In Cleveland returning? Nine is failing to live up to the promises as the home of comedy, the only sure joke is the programing department.

  8. Wonder what they will show when the current series of Top Gear runs out i think thats next week unless its a repeat of the 2010 USA Special , can David clarify please , i guess more Top Gear.

  9. It’s a depressing story, true, but the upside is how proud I am of TV Tonight readers today – more than 50 comments about a Channel Nine failure story, and nobody has resorted to the old “..and that’s why they should bring back Hey, Hey” chestnut. Thank you all for moving on!

  10. That schedule has to be a joke!
    Have they no pride?
No wonder the only program I’ve watched on 9 for years was the first episode of Harry’s Law. (And probably the last)
It was so predictable and soppy I won’t be back for more.
Druggie kid really a nice college boy?
Standover protection racketeer really just protecting thepoor shop keepers?
Beautiful assistant willing to give up well-paid job with big law firm to follow Harriet into slum practice?
    Ditto smart young male lawyer?
    Give us a break!

  11. I know they wont rate well but how about we start to see Episodes, Mr Sunshine, Hot In Cleveland, Come Fly With Me. Anything is better that repeats only 6 weeks into the ratings year.

If they are waiting for MKR to end then have they forgot about Masterchef, Australia’s Got Talent, Amazing Race.

    Silly, stupid decisions.
