Guests this week include Dexter author Jeff Lindsay, actress Zoe Ventoura and Irish comedian Jason Byrne.

Next on Adam Hills in Gordon St Tonight, Adam will be joined by Jeff Lindsay, author of the Dexter novels, former Packed to the Rafters actress Zoe Ventoura and Irish comedian Jason Byrne.

Music includes Dave Larkin and star of America’s Got Talent singer Alexis Jordan.

Jason Byrne’s original style of high-energy lunacy has made him an award-winning stand-up comedy hit, performing to sell-out crowds around the world. Jason has also made many TV appearances including hosting his very own comedy panel show The Byrne Ultimatum.

American playwright and crime novelist Jeff Lindsay is best known for his novels about sociopathic vigilante Dexter Morgan. The popular series was then adapted to become the Showtime TV series Dexter.

Zoe Ventoura is an Australian actress best known for her role as Melissa Rafter in the hit TV series Packed to the Rafters. 18-year-old American singer and actress Alexis Jordan rose to fame as a contestant on the first season of America’s Got Talent in 2006. After being eliminated from the show, Alexis began to upload videos of herself performing cover songs to YouTube, which were spotted by rapper Jay-Z and production team Stargate, who helped launch her professional career.

Dave Larkin is lead vocalist/guitarist of the Melbourne alternative rock band Dallas Crane. The group has four albums under their belt, been nominated for three ARIA awards, and their popular 2004 self-titled album has already been called an ‘Australian Classic’.

It airs Wednesday March 9 at 8.30pm on ABC1.

  1. I love Adam Hills. But the people on this show are not learning from their first few episodes.

Its biggest problem is that it tries to do Way to much in an hour. Three interviews plus usually a phone-it-in interview (that makes 4), 2 musical guests, satellite crosses to audience member homes, and talk to Every audience member with a side kick as well. The interviews are too short and I don’t feel he is getting the most out of the concept. He needs to slow down, only have 1 musical guest. Take a look at Graham Norton and how interviews can be seamlessly woven into audience involvement. Hopefully ABC learns from an OK start to his season.
