Out: 100 Days of Disaster. In: Undercover Boss

TEN changes its mind on that disaster special once more, settling for Undercover Boss at the MGM Grand in Vegas.

TEN has removed the 2011: 100 Days of Disaster special for a second time from its Monday line-up, as it treads water without new Glee episodes.

Originally due to air  at 7:30 on Monday it was replaced with an Oprah episode featuring the Glee cast and was rescheduled to air next Monday.

But TEN changed their plans again, first scheduling an Oprah “Comedy Gold” episode before settling on an episode of Undercover Boss (USA).

This episode takes place at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

It isn’t yet clear where TEN will play the disaster special hosted by Dr. Andrew Rochford, but it might wind up in another slot ….maybe on the weekend?

  1. I wish to see the documentary 2011 – 100 Days of Disaster.
Those who do not wish to watch can easily switch channels, but this program will certainly help the healing of many who lived through this disaster, and will help others, who were not affected, to realise how lucky we are. Nature never discriminates.
The documentary will help us understand their struggle & grief.

  2. Someone at Ten must have got their calculator out and realised that next Monday is only the 94th day of this year. Perhaps they’ll reschedule it for Sun 10 April or Mon 11 April, when it will actually be 100 days (depending on whether you count the day on which it’s broadcast).

How come Eleven is so stable programming-wise yet Ten, at times, appears as random as Nine? I recommend maintaining whatever quarantine procedures must be in place.

  3. @ J Bar, haha really? Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, repeated to death yet still pull good figures.
So first it was 87 Days of Disaster, then 100 Days of Disaster… just forget about it, no one wants to be reminded of the disasters we’ve been having.

  4. Sounds like they are plays ‘spin the wheel’ to see why they sill air.

Also why didn’t TEN have the 16:9 copy of the Oprah special, at the start it even had a logo on the bottom ‘Available in HD’ on the copy I recorded last year.

So next time it’s scheduled how many days will it be?

  5. Just bin the special or burn it out on Eleven in the middle of the night. It sounds like a “serious” news version of 20 to 1: Natural Disasters.

  6. Why don’t they just show Glee repeats while we are waiting?

I know they may’ve been shown recently, but pick particular episodes that will have an effect on the final part of the season. (ie. episode One, where they mention New York, Nationals & the little asian girl goes to Vocal Adreniline)

Or even just copy the repeat schedule of the U.S. and tell the fans it’s in repeats until “insert date here”.

  7. Yay!! I’ve been wanting Undercover Boss back on Mondays. I’ve missed it on Fridays as it clashes with something else I watch. I think that’s a good time for it while we wait for new Glee episodes.
