Seven looks to fill its Dancing card

With just weeks to go before production must be locked in for Dancing with the Stars, more names are emerging as possible contenders.
News Limited claims Seven has begun discussions with Liz Hurley to appear on the next series.
Hurley, who is already filming Wonder Woman, may only have time to do a guest appearance. She could be this year’s Pamela Anderson. It would certainly land the show buckets of publicity.
So far Brynne Edelsten, Lara Bingle, chef Manu Feildel and Home And Away‘s Dan Ewing are signed on, while Nick Bracks, model and son of former Victorian Premier Steve Bracks, is the latest on Seven’s dance card.
Other names in speculation are Larry Emdur, beauty queen Jesinta Campbell, Steve Waugh and even former Dancing host Daryl Somers (really?).
Wayne Carey, Hugh Sheridan, Terri Irwin and pregnant Cathy Freeman have all declined.

I greatly doubt Seven could afford her. She wouldn’t come cheap and would surely be asking for a 7 figure price, no pun intended.

But if she was on this show it would really draw attention to the fact that the other contestants are nobodies.

Nick Bracks might not be well known outside of Victoria, but those who watch it for the eye-candy will not be disappointed if he’s on it. Manu will have some competition there.
Who is Albey Mangel? That is another name going around.
But thats great Larry is on it because he has been wanting to go in it for ages and even more since Kylie has been on it.
Kate Ritchie wouldnt surprise me either but it depends if she is pregnant or not.
Steve Waugh is another name going around. That would be good because I have always they should target a Glenn McGrath, Matthew Hayden or Gilly.
But Nick Bracks. He isnt really that big a name in melbourne. He is known for his court appearances and being the son of a former premier. Occasionally he is in the social pages for his modelling but no one outside melbourne would know him.
I thought they may get someone from Winners & Losers just to keep the promotion of the show going. I know Blair has been on before.
When they introduce Brynne what are they going to say she does. Im not sure what you would say.

Some names from the DWTS website, which has been accurate in the past include Shaun diviney and Sam Moran.
Usually they try to get a broad spectrum of sport, actors, music, tv, omedy stars but Campbell, ewing, bracks, and bingle? 4 models? Hopefully not all of them.
Who will be the ex-footy player? Cousins, Marty johns, and Shane webke are all out of work to my knowledge and have ties to 7.
Surely she would ask for like what? half a million?
That’s right 7, keep adding all those Melbourne Identities no one outside of Bleak City knows and watch your rating fall.
I have stopped watching this programme but if Manu Fieldel is in it I will have to watch it again! Should be fun if he is in it.
