Oh this is way cool.
William Shatner records a special Star Trek message for the crew of the Discovery Space Shuttle which NASA has used as a wake-up call on their final mission.

I know they do some times, actually the last launch (the Shuttle still in space) I noticed for the first time the NASA feed with HD and said so in the top of the screen. I just fish that happened more often. It’s just something that bugs me.
@Craig
That was just the 4:3 feed they were recording. Nasa TV do indeed feed 16:9 and in HD such as this: ustream.tv/channel/nasa-hd-tv
It’s just a shame the Enterprise never actually went into space. Maybe we have to wait for the NX-01 to be built 😉
Not to be a stickler but why isn’t that footage from NASA in wide screen, is it still 1980 there?
Awesome.
