Spoilers: After all that good work Oprah went and did for our tourism, The Amazing Race is about to undermine it with a whacky challenge that sees Racers dressed as kangaroos in Broken Hill.
In fact, last November when a reader wrote that racers were bouncing down her street dressed as kangaroos it sounded a little far-fetched.
But sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.
This episode airs 6:30pm Sunday on 7mate.

It was very funny.. and the roo shoes were quite cool and springy. Oh and Kris made a buff kangaroo 😉
More fodder for the ignorant Americans’ perception that we all have kangaroos hopping around suburban streets and in our backyards!
I’m sure it will be entertaining but it’s a pretty lame idea.

Yeah i saw that on Craig Ferguson and thought WTF. When they usually get them to dress up it’s actually in the country’s traditional clothing. But this is just stupid. They could have got them to put on some Man From Snowy River outfits and sent them to round up sheep or cattle or something.
Man this looks so funny!, can’t wait to watch it this sunday on 7mate.
Just watched it on US catch up TV – it is not a bad episode with some tension.
The best bit online in the US is Phil’s camera blog which really reveals how on the fly they are when they film it.
