What if Justin Bieber came to the Logies?

Call me crazy, but has anybody else noticed these synergy with these dates?

Call me crazy, but has anybody else noticed these synergy with these separate dates?

Justin Bieber Tour Dates:
Thursday April 28, Friday 29: Acer Arena, Sydney.
Monday May 2, Tuesday May 3: Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne.

and in completely unrelated calendar dates:

Logie Awards
Sunday May 1: Crown, Melbourne.

Uh oh.

Any guesses as to who the Logies may have as a guest this year?

Meanwhile, if you are hellbent on meeting the Biebster, MTV has a contest for concert tix and a chance to meet him that you can enter here.

  1. So many people say they don’t watch the Logies, yet it rates very well. I’m a self confessed Logies fan. I literally get excited on the Sunday morning, put out a chesse platter and champagne etc. I won a competition to go to the Logies a few years ago, one of the most surreal experiences I’ve had. I would prefer to see Australian musical talent there though, or some big production numbers from whichever musical is in town at the moment.

  2. @ David Knox, 3:59pm – Why did you publish this pointless ‘story’ then? Everyone knows that with a Justin Bieber article come idiots making death threats and other OTT comments.

    1. I don’t publish death threats whether for minors or adults. The post is about potential Logie guests. People are entitled to dislike Bieber and those that comply with Comments Policy have been approved.

  3. I know what will happen! They’ll have to shut the Logies down when it’s inundated with a slew of screaming, fainting tweeners.

    And nobody will care.

  4. While I am not a fan of his music, he is very entertaining in interviews, having seen him on Graham Norton, Conan and Letterman. He is actually quite a funny kid and I could think of worse people they could have on the Logies. Have the haters here seen him interviewed at all?

  5. Maybe the teen fans will pull off another Martin Place? Or the Logies event getting cancelled ‘cos they’ll be camping outside the venue two days pre-event?
