ABC3 will play Star Wars: The Clone Wars later this month, which is another chance to see it if you didn’t see it when it aired on TEN.
The 22 part series is the first CG animated TV series created by Lucasfilm Animation.
Follow the adventures of legendary Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi and Yoda, along with Anakin’s new Padawan learner, Ahsoka Tano, as they struggle against the dark side.
Set between Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, Star Wars: The Clone Wars finds a dwindling number of Jedi Knights fighting to maintain freedom and restore peace to the galaxy, using their army of genetically engineered clones against the seemingly unstoppable droid army of the Separatists.
The terrible conflict grows wider as the heroes are swept into the turmoil of war, while the evil Count Dooku, his assassin Asajj Ventress, their master Darth Sidious and the mechanical General Grievous scheme to defeat them.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars features the voices of Matt Lanter (Heroes) as Anakin Skywalker, Ashley Eckstein (That’s So Raven) as Ahsoka Tano, James Arnold Taylor (Celebrity Deathmatch) as Obi Wan Kenobi and Tom Kane (Wolverine & the X Men) as Yoda.
In the first episode, Ambush, Jedi Master Yoda and three clone troopers must face off against Count Dooku’s dreaded assassin Asajj Ventress and the massive Separatist droid army, to prove the Jedi are strong enough to protect a strategic planet and forge a treaty for the Republic.
It begins 5:30pm Wednesday 13th April on ABC3.

WIth abc3 there are no adveds for the clone wars
Does anyone know if this will be a nightly offering, or a weekly offering?
A nerd fest.
This has already been seen and should be shown in double episodes. Are they going to get seasons 2 and 3 as well.
Well looks like, even though the kids already have them by other means, that Masters 7 & 10 will be declaring this as Must See TV!
Ok this is a good aquisition but is an exception not the norm
great tv series – very enjoyable. Never really a dull moment. Good work ABC3!
Sounds good.
ABC3 are also apparently showing new episodes of Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes starting from this morning.
Better than those three god awful prequels hands down.
