Here’s a first, ELEVEN is set to screen a Lady Gaga concert just hours after it airs in the US.
Filmed in February this year at Madison Square Garden, the Monster Ball concert will feature all of her hits, as well as two new songs from her forthcoming album, Born This Way.
It will air at 8.30pm on Sunday May 8th. Take that MTV!
ELEVEN hosts Labby and Stav will also turn up the Gaga madness a week earlier on Couch Time from 4pm-6.30pm Monday May 2.
Lady Gaga’s phenomenal rise to superstardom began only a few short years ago. Her debut album, The Fame, was released in 2008, winning Grammys for Electronic/Dance Album and Dance Recording (“Poker Face”). Gaga’s follow-up, The Fame Monster, just received three Grammys, including Female Pop Vocal Performance, Pop Vocal Album and Short Form Music Video (all for “Bad Romance”).

stav should stop wearing womens clothing at first it was funny but now it just wrong little kids and teens watch this show and they should not have to see that if he wants to wear womens clothing then do it at your home not on tv were kids are watching
I think lady goo goo gaa gaa. Was doing some borat inspired parody of madonna etc.. Then found out he could make a ton of cash playing music, so just stuck with it

Eleven should consider running a Video Hits request style show in the afternoons, like what Channel [V] used to have with WhatUWant.
@ Earthquake. Exactly, i ideally would want Video Hits to be on every weekday at 6pm on 11 airing classic episodes and then on the weekend air Live shows and Chart h from ARIA, it would be a great reward for a show which has stood the test of time a quarter of a century i think or close to it anyway. As for Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball concert i think that it will rate well and whilst i am not happy with what the current board has done to ONE HD or just ONE i am pleased that they are continuing with the youth shows on 11. Personally i think the channel could use more music on it, that is why Video Hits would be great on it especially when the target audience is youth and Lachlan Murdoch himself has said that youth is the demographic they want to capture again like they used to.

Concerts on Eleven is a great idea. Shame Gag Gag has to be the first but it’s a start.

I watch channle eleven more than all channel 9 digial channels together
It seems these will be her only good songs in concert if her 2 new tracks are anything to go by. Her quick rise will be a faster fall.
They should put a live version of Video Hits on Eleven every weekday afternoon instead of old repeated shows.

While she’s not my cup of tea it is good they’re sticking to MTV.
