Ooops. Sorry Eddie.

Just a quick note to say that story on Friday about Daryl, Livinia and Plucka in the running for the Gold Logie was actually an April Fool’s gag.

Pssst: Friday was April 1st.

This morning on your MMM brekkie show when you were venting about the Logies voting system (and I agree it’s far from perfect) you mentioned that last week the Hey Hey team were leading Logie nominations. But they never were.

I thought the line about Ben Elton would have been a dead giveaway but there u go (it did catch a few people out).

Maybe don’t go putting it up as  a question on Hot Seat?

  3. What bugs me about all these people commentating about Chrissie Swan’s Gold nomination is that they’re saying she doesn’t deserve it / how can a low rating show like the Circle and an unknown ex-reality star get nominated, there must’ve been a glitch in the voting etc…

    The fact is, Chrisse was nominated. Which means she had enough votes. What they should be asking is why she was eligible for Gold and Silver, and not the other New Talent candidates. If they knew their shit and followed the Logies closely they should know these things. I’m just some 19 year old uni kid and I think what I have to say is worth more than the load of shit some of these so called journos are reporting on about the Logies.

  7. The gold isn’t about ‘dominating’ as Eddie puts it is it?? If so, he’d have won hands down for the past 10 years. He’s on every new gameshow nine comes up with, not to mention all the rest.

  9. Only a fool would be fooled by this story on April Fools Day. Only the biggest fool would still believe it 4 days later…….if the cap fits wera it eh?
