Dannii recovering from emergency surgery

Australia’s Got Talent judge Dannii Minogue is recovering at home after being rushed to hospital in the UK with stomach pains.

Within two hours of arriving at the hospital, she went under the knife in a bid to solve the problem, which was later diagnosed as acute appendicitis.

The Sun quoted a source as saying, “They managed to operate on her very soon after she arrived so she was out of the woods quickly. But obviously it was a huge shock to her system and she spent several days recovering.”

Minogue, who was at home in Chelsea, South West London, with boyfriend Kris Smith when she started to feel ill.

“Now she’s putting her feet up at home, relaxing in front of the TV. She had to cancel some meetings but she’s getting back to normal.”

Seven premieres completed episodes of Australia’s Got Talent auditions next week before filming finals later in May. She is also hoping to sign a new UK X Factor deal soon.
