Million Dollar Drop / CSI update

Nine has slated another episode of Million Dollar Drop to air on Thursday night in place of CSI.

Nine has slated another episode of Million Dollar Drop to air at 8:30pm on Thursday night in place of CSI (which was due to resume this week).

According to programming info it will also be the same episode across all cities (so far Melbourne has been an episode behind).

At this stage CSI is back in schedule next week April 14th -but that’s a long way off so anything is possible.

Last Thursday Million Dollar Drop pulled 730,000 viewers, beaten by Grey’s Anatomy with 850,000, but higher than The Good Wife on 669,000.

Nine has 12 episodes of Million Dollar Drop.

  1. “It’s like being saddled with nine s**t sandwiches – stinks to high heaven, no one wants ‘em and sooner or later the network is gonna have to swallow them …”

I like it ! (the comment that is, not Eddie’s show)

  2. It would do a lot better if not for Eddie everywhere.Just his presence at 5:30pm is enough to send most of us over to Children’s Programs on the ABC or whatever exists on Pay TV.

  3. I don’t know if I’ve made this comment before on here, but I think part of the reason that this show flopped is because unlike other shows where contestants “win” money, in this show you kind of just see them lose for the entire hour. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

  4. I imagine they will put MDD on next Thursday. Doesn’t make sense to put CSI on for one week and then off for the two week Easter non ratings period.

But then this is channel nine.

  5. I wonder if they have shot all 12 episodes or do a few a week , i guess if your on there it has to be shown before you get your winnings , all except for that greegy woman who lost $640,000 , hedge ya bets darling.

  7. Don’t bother watching this stuff in primetime. Caught it on Sunday afternoon. Yawn…..so slow………
“Encore”, meaning repeat upon repeat, means it only dilutes the first-run audience. Crazy stuff. The theory that “people who didn’t/couldn’t see it first time out will see it here then will watch ep. 2 in primetime is nonsense.

  8. Good show except I hope they make their so called security guards stop pushing the contestants away everytime Eddie tells them they can touch the money

  9. and Nine are desperately trying to burn through them as quick as possible…

Gee, Eddie, I wonder how those contract renewal negotiations are going with shows you are fronting in primetime flopping – MDD and TIYL
