Returning: Glee

A new episode Glee will screen next week on TEN, but in a new timeslot.

A new episode Glee will screen next week on TEN.

But due to MasterChef it has changed timeslots, now at 8:30pm Wednesdays.

“A Night Of Neglect” is one of six new episodes remaining in the current season.

Proving that birds of a feather flock together, the Gleeks decide to help out another under-the-radar club at McKinley High. But when Sue hears of the harmonious comradery, she quickly moves to strike.

This really isn’t one of the better Glee episodes but it does see the return of Gwyneth Paltrow as substitute teacher ‘Holly Holliday.’

  1. @ alvar – you don’t watch the show but hope it flops because of a timeslot change? Yeah that makes sense.

MC is ten’s cash cow and number 1 rater – everything else falls by the wayside when it starts. (which is fine by me but 8.30 is quite late for a tweeny show)

  2. Scott – I totally agree with you. Thanks David for all your great work. I make it a daily occurrence to check into tvtonight to see any program updates … and other news you report on of course!

  3. i dont watch the show, but the change of timeslots is so disappointing. i thought they would leave it put on mondays for sure given all the previous changes, but obviously not. wouldnt 8.00 monday be better and keep the audience happy?

i hope this flops for ten.

  4. That most of the talk here is feedback on an episode that hasn’t aired here yet should be proof enough that all this screwing around sheds audiences to “other means”.

@Emily – it was on at 8pm when Masterchef was on last year.

    @Camo – spoilers, no?

  5. disagree with your comment MuchoTB, re the temper tantrum…and keep watching with so many strong characters some just have to take a back seat occassionally…what will you do when Kurt goes back to the Glee club…. Blaine wont be anywhere to be seen then…. my view not the strongest ep…but still a good one 3.5 stars

  6. So another new night for new episodes of Glee?

The series is less than two years and two seasons old and new episodes have already aired on Sundays, Thursdays, Mondays and now Wednesdays. No wonder viewership is down from when it started with the complicated mess that is Channel 10’s scheduling.

  7. I second all the comments, this episode is a bit lame. Mostly due to yet another ridiculous temper tantrum from Mercedes and little to no screen time for Kurt, Blaine, Santana, Quinn, and the show’s more interesting characters. It’s still worth watching though

  8. Glad its back I’ve also heard that this episode is not that good but I’ve seen a preview for the next one and that one looks great. I don’t mind the time change because in my opinion the content of some episodes are more suited for an 8.30 slot. Also unless I’m mistaken Glee had this time slot when masterchef was on last year as well.

  9. Agree David… after Regionals this is not “one of the best” episodes but it is still good… The next episode – Born This Way – looks great !
