ELEVEN begins a new series of So You Think You Can Dance (US) this Friday night.

This is the seventh season which ran from May – August 2010.

Mary Murphy stepped down from her judging position but appeared during Vegas Week and the finale. Mia Michaels (pictured, centre) became the third permanent judge for this season.

It airs 7:30pm Fridays on ELEVEN and will soon air on Saturdays too.

  2. what is happening to SYTYCD, they only have 11 competitors don’t like this at all as it show professional dancers dancing with new comers .It is so obvious when they dance in pairs and the poor kids can out shined by those old pro so forth the judges are far to harsh, as the difference is so obvious .
    This is a bastardised version of Dancing with the stars that i hate anyway. Hate it and lost complete interest
    Looks like the end for me, shame i am 60 and watched all the Episodes

  7. So glad this is continuing to run – love it! @Jack! I also thought Jacob should’ve won – he was absolutely fantabulous, @ Mark – I also have to mute it every time Mary speaks – my husband goes mental – lol

  9. David do know who the head of aquisitions is at Ten since there has been a board change and the former key personel have been shown the door? I am asking this because i dont really like where the Network has been heading as far as its general entertainment content is concerned.

  10. @ Mark, that is hilarious. When I first saw ( and heard ) Mary, I thought she was crazy, I still do, but she makes me laugh.

    @ Shelley, I wonder whether her throat tumour was caused by her screaming ?

  11. Mary stepped down after “difficulties” negotiating her new contract. Turned out to be a good thing for her on a personal level, as she was later diagnosed with a throat tumor for which she had successful surgery. Never fear, she will be back in a permanent judging role for season 8.

  12. My GF watches this religiously, but every time Mary Murphy comes on screen, she knows that she has to hit mute, regardless of what room I’m in…that she won’t be on it is music to my bleeding (thanks Mary) ears!!!

    Great to have Mia Michaels on regularly!
    Jacob should have won the previous season … ripped off!!!

    Does she return for the later seasons David? I’d google it but don’t want to risk finding out the winners of seasons yet to air here!

  16. Glad they’re starting into the next season. Jason Gilkinson was featured a lot in the series that just finished. Pity ELEVEN didn’t highlight that more. Also looking forward to having it on Saturdays!
