Sunday Night will feature an interview with the parents of the “St. Kilda schoolgirl” this weekend as well as have the teenager undergo a lie detector test.

In an exclusive interview on Sunday Night, Tony and Susan speak out for the first time, solving many of the mysteries surrounding the AFL scandal and their 17 year-old daughter.

They tell Rahni Sadler that she was “perfect” until she met two players from the St Kilda football team last year. They say their daughter was well behaved at home, excelling at school and was a dedicated athlete competing at world championship level. It all fell apart, they claim, when at 16 she became obsessed with the two footballers. They describe their shame at her behaviour and shock at the lies she told. They now live with daily death threats.

As Ricky Nixon’s life continues to unravel there are new clues as to how this AFL powerhouse came undone. Yesterday the AFL refused to lift a two-year ban on Nixon, imposed after he admitted to inappropriate dealings with the school girl at the centre of the AFL nude photo scandal.

Now on Sunday Night, the teenager details her extraordinary plot to trap Nixon by luring him to her hotel room. So what really happened? At her suggestion, and with her parents’ consent, she sits a lie detector test… carried out by Australia’s leading polygraph expert.

The results were definitive, one person’s story was found to be true, with 98% accuracy. But whose?

It airs 6:30pm Sunday on Seven.

  1. @ Mr Chandler, I don’t watch sport on any channel, so I wouldn’t know whether 7 covers sport well or not. The shows I do watch on 7, I don’t consider rubbish. And I don’t turn a blind eye to 7’s wrong doings, I regularly comment on Today Tonights trashy stories and I only watch Sunday Night if a story interests me. My favourite channels are ABC and SBS.

  2. i feel very sorry for the parents of this young girl. Its appears they have tried to give her the world but she is on a self destructive path, not only for her parents, but the people she puts in her sights.

Surely there other more well deserving stories that can make the news, rather then give storieslike this prime time TV viewing.

  3. And people wonder why some couples choose not to have kids. When will the media stop giving this attention seeking nobody airtime. Crawl back under your rock of insignificance.

  4. Perhaps if the media stopped giving this silly girl air time – she would go away. Whilst you continue to promote the story she continues to carry on. Whilst I do not agree with the fact that “perhaps” Nixon had sex with her – there is No suggestion that she was raped etc. This girl has some major problems and I hope that she gets the help she needs. In relation to her parents – I do not condone threats against them – she is their daughter and they love her. However they must realise that she has to take responsibility for all of this. Her behaviour on the show tonight – was just ridiculous. Give it up we have all had enough now.

  5. She is such a joke I feel so sorry for her parents but they must realise if she wants to act adult she must be trialed as adult she is a trouble maker and fake. How much money does she really want St Kilda…..give her nothing…

  6. @garry yeah well you and other can keep following channel grub and their rubbish shows and sports coverage and turn a blind eye to everything they do wrong
