It’s that time of the year when the US networks reveal their Fall line-ups to advertisers.
FOX’s anticipated Australian-filmed dino-adventure Terra Nova will air on Mondays with House.
New comedy The New Girl follows Glee on Tuesdays. The comedy created by Elizabeth Meriwether is about the sexual politics of men and women and stars Zooey Deschanel and Damon Wayans Jr.
The X Factor will air Wednesday and Thursday before the eleventh season of American Idol returns in January.
Bones will stay at Thursdays while its spinoff The Finder will get the post-Idol slot Thursdays. J.J. Abram’s Alcatraz will also join the midseason schedule. Fringe will be held until midseason where it will again air on Fridays.
“Nothing impacts culture the way a television show does,” said Peter Rice, chairman, entertainment, FOX Networks Group. “And here at FOX, we have the most talked about, most followed, most creative shows that build connections between viewers and brands.”

I can certainly see FOX8 picking The X Factor US up… Sorry FTA only viewers but they’re the only channel that can be trusted with leaving a programming alone in its slot and airing it fast !
Bob’s Burgers obviously was picked up for 13 eps. Makes sense when American Dad was renewed too – FOX it seems were hoping to replace it with Bob’s Burgers. But ratings for each were OK nothing special (yes I know those two are the best of the five FOX animations these days)
AA – I’d expect Eleven were out of eps. They’ll have three remaining to show whenever.
Wonder if we’ll get to see the US X-Factor. Fox8 shows American Idol-maybe that would be a good fiot for it.
Is Bob’s Burgers finished airing on Eleven for now? Really liked it too-great to see it renewed.
@Luke,
actually Fringe got renewed for a full 22-episode order. holding it till mid-season just means there will be no long breaks in between airdates of episodes, and they can play the season straight through. 😛
Flintstones won’t be 2011-12, but a separate story is coming.
LA Screenings start tomorrow.
Napoleon Dynamite?

Animated show with original cast? Sign me up!
Fringe held off for the mid-season? Sounds like they’re giving Fringe a final season to maybe tie up loose ends with a smaller run of episodes and a quick storyline. I’m glad they’re at least giving it that opportunity, it’s one of my favourite non-sitcom shows.
Does anyone have the rights to Napoleon Dynamite in Oz? I’d love to see it, it’s one of my all time favourite movies…

Like Arrested Development, and The Good Guys.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the Flinstones
Dear David,
Can you just remind me what time of the year Australian tv buyers head over to decide what we do and don’t get?
Alcatraz sounds interesting, however i think it’ll be another mega hit for only a few weeks i.e Prison Break
Looks like Bob’s was renewed for a second season – really enjoying this show!
NBC was the first cab off the rank they had theirs yesterday.
Bob’s Burgers didn’t get a full season? But it’s the best new comedy of the year!
More programs to interupt the commercials
