Glee stars will be headed to Australia in July to appear at “Gleek-On” fan events in Sydney and Melbourne.

Kevin McHale (Artie), Harry Shum Jr (Mike), and Dot-Marie Jones (Coach) and a fourth as-yet-unannounced cast member will be appearing on July 16 (Sydney) and July 18 (Melbourne).

The event features the guests live on stage for a few stories, anecdotes as well as Question and Answers. There will also be a variety of events throughout the day, such as auctions, raffles and trivia. There will also be merchandise as well as rare collectibles available to purchase from the dealers. You will also have the chance to meet the guests and acquire autographs and professional photographs.

Tickets start at $95 but the top prices for die-hard fans include a karaoke party and breakfast with the stars.

  1. better value than something like supanova or arramgeddon where you pay $40 + just to get in the door and then have to line up for hours to even get into a Q& A ( 90 mins line up only got you 3/4 towards the back for Tom Felton in Brisbane). I waited in line for a James Masters auto at an event last year – 2 hours to buy the damn token and then 90 mins in line to get the auto

Not really into Glee myself but deffo better value for my $ than other events

  2. Is Glee any good anymore? I liked the first season, however I never got into the second season. I think it became too focused on the music and dance numbers.

Like in the first season, the Madonna episode was the worst because it was just about singing her songs.

  3. Judging from the comments (I’m no Glee fan), I imagine it would be like going to a Star Wars convention where the top billed guests are Jeremy Bulloch, Jay Laga’aia and Daniel Logan.

  4. Would be interested to see if Kevin McHale turns up in a wheelchair….and if he doesn’t if there will be any ‘fans’ who didn’t know he could walk.
And yeah a minimum entry fee of $95 and then having to pay for everything else on top of that (autographs, photos) is a bit rich.
